4. 2024 CFA Exam Booking Process
After the payment is successfully processed, you can see the "Schedule Your Exam" link in the CFA Program module. After clicking the link, you will enter the Exam Reservation interface in Prometric, select the specific exam date, time, and location, /confirm/i, and complete the exam reservation.
Special reminder:
1. Different exam windows have different deadline for seat appointments, and appointments must be completed before the corresponding scheduling deadline.
2. The 'Schedule Your Exam' link under the CFA Program module is the only effective way to complete the exam reservation.
3. The CFA Institute cannot guarantee that every candidate can take the exam at their preferred time. Candidates can consider reserving a few more days to participate in the exam.

5. Registration fee for the 2024 CFA exam
1. The initial registration fee is $350, which will not be used for future exams (including retakes, Level 2 and Level 3 exams);
2. Total fee=registration fee+exam fee ($940 in the early stage, $1250 in the standard stage)+tax (reference values: $78 for new students and $45 for old students, subject to display at the time of payment);
3. The exam fee includes an electronic textbook of $150, and if a paper version of the textbook is required, an additional $150 (one set of printed textbooks) and $20 shipping fee are required;
4. The taxes and fees vary in different regions, and the actual payment will ultimately prevail. Taxes and fees are mandatory and must be paid by candidates in China;
5. A fee of $250 will be charged for rescheduling the machine test appointment.
